About Betty Holland
Inspired by natural elements, love of color, eccentricity and a desire to be unconventional Betty Holland has created a collection of jewelry that marries sophistication to the exotic. Bold, colorful, elegant, and ethnic describe her style. Feathers, mineral specimens, antique silk, and other unusual items are commonplace in Betty’s creations.
Betty travels the world to acquire unique gemstones and to attend workshops. She continues to discover elements that others see as ordinary and transforms them into the inspiring. Her jewelry has been featured in the December, 2007 issue of Cowboys & Indians magazine, four issues of Colored Stone magazine since 2005, as well as the February 2006 issue of The Crafts Report.
Betty’s collection has a wide range of appeal due to her insatiable desire to explore new techniques and materials. Although her designs are bold, it is not surprising that both conservative and daring women wear Sophisticated Stones because the pieces compliment their styles and set them apart. Betty hopes her jewelry will serve to spice up people’s lives or least their wardrobes.
